This is the KA-SG01A improved gas tappet which is the stainless steel version of the original KA-SG01 unit. This tappet is made from high quality 440C stainless, carefully heat treated to 52-54 HRC, then centerless ground to ensure precise tolerances. This tappet is extremely corrosion-resistant and runs longer without cleaning even in wet environments. It also improves cycling reliability, even with "plinking" loads such as "bulk pack" birdshot.  Zero expense is spared on material and manufacturing, unlike the many "discount" knockoffs of this part that are on the market.

NOTE: The KA-SG01A was designed around the OEM gas plug, we recommend using the OEM plug unless your Saiga-12 is "overgassed".  Many of the aftermarket plugs will cause an additional increase in initial volume in the gas system and can cause your gun to cycle weaker than it would with the OEM plug in place.  Consult Tech Bulletin TB12-001 for more details and for diagnostic help on Saiga-12 shotguns.

New from KA is this 922r-compliant replacement barrel for Saiga shotguns.
This unit provides the Saiga user with a precision made replacement barrel
for improved accuracy and consistent patterning. It also allows the use of
chokes for various applications. Precision machined from a barrel blank, the
KA-SG02 is available with a regular cylinder bore and M22x0.75 threads or
with the muzzle threaded for Rem-Chokes. Both versions have lengthened
forcing cones for better performance and patterning. Limited number of rifled
slug versions are also available.

KA once again fixes an issue that has stumped the firearms industry for years.  The new KA-AR02 high-reliability magazine is designed for the popular 5.45x39 chambered AR-15's on the market.  With similar ballistics to the .223/5.56x45 and much lower ammunition costs, the 5.45x39 AR15 concept has been very popular.......except for the chronic feeding issues.  Doing a little math on the problem, we found the cause and designed and patented a magazine that will feed 5.45x39 ammunition reliably in the AR-15 platform, from the first round to the last.  These are scheduled for release in summer of 2012
